Interested in history, magic, and hands on discovery? this is the tour for you!
Be guided by a practicing witch through the heart of Salem. Uncover the land’s pre-colonial history, learn why puritans left Europe, what really happened during the witch trials in 1692, our booming maritime trade in the 18th and 19th century, and present day Salem life.
Tours are conducted with periodical interactive and witchy activities that anyone can participate in. Enact actual tests from 1692 and see if you would have been condemned as a witch. Pull a tarot card and receive a mini divination reading. Create a protection circle with your tour group. Don’t forget to bring home your own complimentary bag of crystals!
This interactive tour is excellent for all ages, families, friend groups, and solo explorers. No prior knowledge of Salem history, magic, or witchcraft is required to have fun participating and learning in this tour.
Famous Statues, Buildings, Graveyards, and Ships
Our tour starts in the Ropes Mansion Garden, the backyard of a building more known as Alison’s house from the cult classic movie Hocus Pocus.
Take photos in front of the Bewitched Statue. Admire the colonial style mansions around town. Visit Charter Street Cemetery where those involved in the witch trials are buried. View the Model Friendship (Merchant ship) at Derby Wharf’s port.

Dedication to Education
Our script is centered around providing factual information about Salem history and accuracy to magic practices.
All historical information was compiled by a certified historian local to Salem Massachusetts and peer reviewed by other local historians with college degrees in history.
All magic information was gathered and cross checked by witches who have been practicing for over 10 years and includes an emphasis on folk magic.

Walking in one direction we begin at the Ropes Mansion Garden and end at Derby Wharf.
While our tour has a 15 person limit, Private events for larger groups are available for scheduling.
